What you need:
Dates
Bacon
Brown Sugar
Maple Syrup
Goat Cheese
Salt/Pepper
Garnish:
Chives

Breakdown:
1 box of dates
5-6 Bacon Strips
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Log of Goat Cheese
What to do:
Open a bottle of champ (cheers to the chef!)
Toss bacon flat on a baking sheet coat it with maple syrup and add pepper. Cook until crispy. Once done let cool and cut into bite-size pieces.
Grab dates cut them in half and fill the middle with goat cheese. Set aside.
Time to make the sauce. In a small saucepan add 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of water, 1 tsp of maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Cook down until thick.
On 375, line a sheet pan with dates and cook for 5-10 mins until they start to carmelize.
ASSEMBLE! On a cute platter add your dates and top with bacon (pro tip, stuff it into the middle of goat cheese). Drizzle brown sugar syrup on top. Garnish: Zest with lemon and top with a piece of chive. #gorg
